Introducing Rebase Dashboard
Customisable weather and energy visualisations.

Introducing Rebase Dashboard
At Rebase, our mission has always been to make energy forecasting and modelling transparent, collaborative, and insightful. Today, we’re taking the next step toward that vision with the launch of Rebase Dashboard — a real-time control center for energy forecasting and trading teams to gain energy market and system insights tailored to their specific use cases.
What is Rebase Dashboard?
With Rebase Dashboard, we want to enable energy forecasting and trading teams with the tools we wished we had ourselves. In other words, a tool for rapidly creating fully customizable dashboards, tailored to the unique workflows of energy traders and data scientists. There is truly one million ways to visualise data, an there’s rarely one “right” approach, only the one that fits your data, your goal, and your team. That is why we think customisability is so important.
What makes Rebase Dashboard different?
While there’s no shortage of visualization tools, few are built for the realities of energy data science. Rebase Dashboard rethinks how visualisation should work when energy, weather, and markets intersect. It might be the right tool for you if the following resonates.
Python-first: Giving energy data scientists a toolkit to create insightful and good-looking visualisations, without ever leaving the Python-world.
Ready-to-use weather data: Weather data is large and tricky to process. That’s why we included weather datasets out-of-the-box, so that you can focus on your own unique data streams.
Energy data focus: With a focus on energy use cases, we can provide the right visualisation building blocks to enable things like networks and flows that are common to energy markets and systems.
What’s next?
This is just the start. We plan to continue developing Rebase Dashboard by adding functionality around visualising weather forecast updates and errors, energy market data, power grid data and model explanations.
Rebase Dashboard is currently in private beta. If you’re part of an energy forecasting or trading team and want early access and ability to influence the development, reach out to us in our Slack channel and we'll hook you up with an API key for testing.
